Kizza Besigye’s wife has been in the news lately as we all know the husband is still fighting for his life and that of his people in prison. Just recently she admitted to have been in a relationship with Yoweri Museveni in the past !!
Winnie Byanyima has now also come out to refute rumours against her. This happened after a birthday certificate started trendeding online, that showed the parents and birth date of Yoweri Museveni’s son Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
The certificate showed that Muhoozi was born in 1974 at Loitokitok General Hospital, which is supposedd to be in Kenya. The father is indicated as Yoseri Tubuhaburwa Rutabwasirwa, said to be from Rwanda and working in Uganda. The mother is indicated as Hope Rwaheru, hailing from Uganda in a place known as Burahya.
Winnie noted she had nothing to do with the leaking of this document !!
“Indeed I have nothing to do with this document,” she wrote.
Earlier on Muhoozi went on his Twitter to call Winnie a home wrecker over her relationship with his father. The army general claimed that Winnie had found a happy home and tried to destroy it. He said that she never left but was kicked out by his father in December 1986, as she was allegedly dragged to the car and sent back to her parents. Ugandans were not happy about this and many of them were angry, as they bashed Muhoozi for lacking respect and even sharing details of his dad’s affairs, something they saw as disrespect and taboo to talk about !!
